What is this?
Come join your fellow Ski Club members as we visit a unique spot and one of the best waterfalls in the state!

Window Cliffs is a 5.75 mile there-and-back moderate hike that has several creek crossings. Depending on recent rains, 2 or more crossings will require water shoes or removal of shoes/boots to cross. The end of the trail is a great way to conquer your fear of heights as the trail ends on top of the “windows”!

We’ll make a stop off at Burgess Falls trail for a quick 1.25 mile easy hike to the top of Burgess Falls before heading back home.

We will meet at the Cracker Barrel in Mt Juliet just off I-40 exit 226A at 7:15 AM to leave at 7:30 AM SHARP! It will take about an hour to reach the trailhead. The hike should take approximately 3 hours for Window Cliffs, followed by a short lunch break, and an hour for Burgess Falls. We should be back to Mt Juliet by 2:30 PM.

Bring snacks, lunch, and plenty of water! A lot of this trail is exposed so you will get sun, and it will be hot! This hike also requires water shoes for the multiple creek crossings.

RSVP is required for this hike and if you have any questions you can call Joe at 615.513.8121 or email to president@nashvilleskiclub.org.

If you can hike Mossy Ridge, or both ridges at Radnor Lake in about 2 hours, you should be able to complete this hike.

RSVPs will be strictly monitored. Group size is limited for safety. Please be kind and let the organizer know if you need to cancel. Rainout date is the following day.

See our standard disclaimer/waiver on the Upcoming Events page. Attending this event assumes you agree with the statements.
