About this event
Step Into the Glow: The Country’s Largest Lantern Festival
Get ready to see the Nashville Zoo in a whole new light! Join the Nashville Ski Club on January 22nd as we wander through ZooLumination—a magical world of over 1,000 custom-made silk lanterns.
This isn't just a few lights in trees; it’s an immersive experience featuring life-sized (and larger-than-life!) scenes of wildlife, mythical beasts, and a massive 200-foot-long dragon. Spanning 60 acres, this year’s festival features brand-new designs and breathtaking displays that reach up to 50 feet high.
THE HIGHLIGHTS
-
The Lanterns: Over 1,000 hand-crafted silk masterpieces including a holiday-themed North Pole Village.
-
Live Entertainment: Catch nightly performances from world-class acrobats and entertainers at the Ajax Turner Amphitheater (shows at 6:00, 7:00, and 8:00 PM).
-
Smashville Ice Rink: Feel like practicing your edge-work? The Nashville Predators' outdoor ice rink is back for the season (additional $10–$12).
-
Warm Spirits: Sip on spiked hot cocoa, margaritas, or specialty cocktails as you walk the trails.
