Join us in December at the Crows Nest in Green Hills. The holidays are upon us and our first ski trip of the season is just over a month away! Come early for happy hour and our meeting will begin at 6 PM. Stick around for dinner and fellowship. Please RSVP to let us know you're coming! Saturday, December 19th - Honey Creek Loop Hike - meet at 7:30 AM SHARP!

Join your Ski Club friends as we venture out to the Big South Fork Recreation Area.  This difficult 5.8 mile loop has ladder climbing, some rock scrambling, and possible water crossing depending on water flow.  We’ll start at the top and venture our way down into the Big South Fork river valley and back out again.

We’ll meet at the Cracker Barrel in Mt. Juliet at exit 226A, and carpool to the trailhead leaving at 7:30am SHARP!

It will take 2.5 hours to arrive at the trailhead, and expect the hike to last 3 hours.

Bring waterproof hiking boots, and a light lunch for the trail.

Sunday, December 20th - Cheekwood Holiday Lights and Chihuly Nights



Join your Ski Club friends as we celebrate with the wonderful Holiday Lights mixed with the Chihuly Nights!

You must purchase your entry tickets individually for your timed entry.  This is a popular event so get your tickets early!

Entry time from 5:30 to 6:30 should allow you to meet up with the group.

Saturday, January 2nd - Virgin Falls Hike - meet at 7:30 AM SHARP!

Join your Ski Club friends as we continue our winter hiking at one of our favorites.  We’ll combine the Upland Loop Trail to Martha’s Pretty Point overlook, and then down and back to Virgin Falls.

This difficult 8.7 mile hike will challenge your endurance, but seeing the waterfall emerge from underground to cascade over a 100 ft cliff is well worth it!

We’ll meet at the Cracker Barrel in Mt. Juliet at exit 226A, and carpool to the trailhead leaving at 7:30am SHARP!

It will take 1h 45m to arrive at the trailhead, and expect the hike to take about 5 hours.

Bring a light lunch to enjoy on the trail.

Our first meeting of 2021 is at Park Cafe on Murphy Rd.  We'll be sending off the folks attending our first trip of the season who will leave just a few days later.  We'll have happy hour beginning at 5 and our meeting will begin at 6.  Hang around for dinner and fellowship. Saturday, February 13th - Fiery Gizzard Hike - meet at 7:30 AM SHARP!

Join your Ski Club friends as we go to one of the toughest trails in Tennessee.  Fiery Gizzard offers several small waterfalls on the way down to the long rock scramble long Fiery Gizzard creek, and then up to Ravens Point for the spectacular view of the valley.

This difficult 9.6 mile hike will earn you a badge of honor among your hiking friends!

We’ll meet at the Cracker Barrel off Hwy 96 and Interstate 24 in Murfreesboro on Chafin place, and carpool to the trailhead leaving at 7:30am SHARP!

It will take just over an hour to arrive at the trailhead, and expect the hike to take about 5.5 hours.

Bring a light lunch to enjoy at Ravens Point as we look over the valley.
