About this event
Escape the summer heat under the canopy of Beaman Park! We will be tackling the 6-mile North Fork Laurel Woods Trail. This is a moderately challenging, mostly flowing hike through deeply forested areas, featuring a few fairly steep inclines, rocky ridges, and an elevation gain of approximately 600 feet.
The Pace & Plan:
We’ll be keeping a comfortable, steady pace of about 30 minutes per mile, so expect to spend around 3 hours out on the trail enjoying the fresh air and peaceful scenery. Please bring plenty of water and your favorite hiking snacks.
