About this event
Come take in spectacular autumn views with your Ski Club friends on one of the most scenic trails in Middle Tennessee!
This 7-mile moderate point-to-point hike follows the rim above Big Creek Valley, offering sweeping overlook views of peak fall foliage alongside stunning waterfalls. Along the way, we’ll visit Great Stone Door, Laurel Falls, Laurel Gulf Overlook, and Broadtree Falls, wrapping up with a relaxing trail lunch at Greeter Falls.
Logistics & Timeline:

7:45 AM / 8:00 AM: Meet at the Murfreesboro Cracker Barrel; depart promptly at 8:00 AM.

9:15 AM: Arrive at Greeter Falls parking area to stage a shuttle vehicle, then drive 15 minutes to the Stone Door trailhead to begin the hike.

Return: Expect to be back at the Murfreesboro meeting spot around 2:30 PM.
Fitness & Preparation:

Fitness Benchmark: If you can hike Mossy Ridge or both ridges at Radnor Lake in under 2.5 hours, you'll do great on this trail.

What to Bring: Sturdy hiking boots, plenty of water, and a packed lunch to enjoy at the falls.
