The Crescent Ski Council offers a number of different weekend trips to resorts in North Carolina and one in West Virginia. While the primary focus of these weekends is racing, you can still buy your lift ticket through Crescent to take advantage of their group pricing. It’s a lot of fun and you’ll compete against a small group of people who ski like you do so don’t think you have no chance of winning just because you’re not a speed demon! Racing will improve your skiing simply because you must turn at each gate, forcing you to control your speed and keep your head up.
