Beaver Creek Trip Report

Thirty-five Nashville Ski club members enjoyed the snowy slopes at Beaver Creek from January 8 to 15. Several of the members had significant challenges with travel due to weather and airline including some waiting 13 hours in the Chicago airport!

The good weather, the abundance of snow and the friendly people quickly improved the mood and all had a good time. We had a great group dinner at Mirabelle with our own room and a delicious desert. We also enjoyed a horse-drawn sleigh ride and dinner out in the country.

The skiing was good with lots of snow and short lift lines. We had people from North Carolina, Kentucky, Memphis and of course Middle TN.

There were several new members - including a couple of first-time skiers - who had a great time and plan to return.

Thanks to Judy Hall and Tom Gormley for leading the trip
