Winter Park Trip Report

Our Nashville Ski Club started the 2023 ski trips with a fun time in Winter Park. We had 34 members from various locations including North Carolina, Michigan, Knoxville, Memphis and Nashville. The snow was good and we got more on Wednesday. The resort has lots of fun trails with open and tree skiing along with convenient ski-in/ski-out condos. We had three fun group dinners. We started Monday night at the Noble Buck where Adam and Natalie cheered their “Dawgs” to a big victory for the National Title Repeat!! We had some great food at Randi’s Irish Pub on Wednesday night and lots of good fellowship. For the last night Friday, Barb Ford created a great dinner with leftovers from all and support from Lei, Cheryl, Bess and others.  We hope everyone enjoyed the trip and will join us again next year.  

Join us as we venture to Winter Park, Colorado for the first time in over two decades. Our lodging will be ski-in/ski-out at the best location in the resort: right at the base in the Zephyr Mountain Lodge in 2 BR/2 BA condos.

We'll fly non-stop to Denver where we'll board our motorcoach for the resort. Winter Park is less than 90 miles from Denver airport. It is a fun resort with 2 mountain areas and lots of great skiing. With over 3000 skiable acres there is something for everybody. The towns of Winter Park and Fraser are only 2 and 4 miles down the road. We can help arrange equipment rentals from Black Tie, which will bring the equipment right to our doors.
