Please join us for a unique ski experience at a small but upcoming resort at Whitefish Mountain Resort, Montana. This area “feels” like Big Sky before the prices and crowds increased. There is a quaint little downtown area with good local restaurants and shops and good skiing up on what the locals call “Big Mountain”. As shown above, Whitefish is one of the few resorts where you will see what the locals call “snow ghosts” as the trees are completely covered with snow.
We will fly into Kalispell and transport by bus to the resort. It is an easy 30-minute ride to our condos and a grocery stop will be included.
We will be staying at the Kintla condos which have 2 BR/2 BA and 3 BR/3 BA units. It is up on Big Mountain and is truly ski in and out the back door. There are a few eating and drinking options on the mountain. It is a short bus ride to downtown Whitefish with lots of entertainment and eating options. There is a good bus system so it will be easy to enjoy all that Whitefish has to offer.
We are exploring options for day trips into Glacier National Park which is nearby. Two group dinners with nice meals are included in the trip.
Whitefish Resort has 13 lifts and over 3,000 acres with a summit elevation of 6,817 and one intermediate trail that is 2.52 miles long. Whitefish is an independent resort and does not accept IKON or Epic passes. A 5-day pass is available. Ski rental options will be provided for drop-offs at the condos.
