We kicked off November with the Wine Down Main Street event in Franklin, where we got to sample wines at several restaurants in the area. Since it was her birthday, Judy got two samples!
On Saturday, October 18th we hiked from Stone Door to Greeter Falls. We had a very nice turnout and great weather!
Some of us spent a weekend at Charit Creek in October. We had a great time hiking, disconnecting and enjoying the great outdoors. The night view without any artificial lights is a wonder to behold!
Our October meeting was at Dalt's on White Bridge Road. We enjoyed getting together and discussing upcoming events as well as our upcoming ski trips! Be sure to join us next month because the meetings get more fun as ski season approaches!
On September 27th we went to see the "other" NSC, the Nashville Soccer Club. It was a great night and they clinched a playoff berth with a win!
Our September Gastronomic Gallivant was to Culamar in Franklin. We enjoyed lots of great pasta and seafood with a lovely sunset view. Be sure to join for our next Gallivant!
On September 6th some of us attended the Middle Tennessee Highland Games & Celtic Festival in Hendersonville. So much plaid! It was great to see all the clans together marching and those guys tossing the cabers around are seriously strong!
On the day after Labor Day we welcomed the beginning of autumn with a membership meeting at Jonathan's in Cool Springs. We had a nice turnout and folks are started to get really excited about the upcoming ski season!
On August 28th we had a Gastronomic Gallivant at The Treehouse in East Nashville. What a fun place to dine and the food was amazing!
On August 22nd we visited Arrington Vineyards where we enjoyed a picnic dinner on the hillside while listening to live jazz. This is our second year to enjoy music in the vineyard and it looks to be an annual tradition! Check out more pictures in the Photo Gallery.
On August 14th we kayaked out to Luau Island and enjoyed a cookout as the sun set before paddling back after dark.
In early August we went to Percy Warner Park to hear some great bluegrass music at one of the monthly Full Moon Pickin' Parties! The weather was warm and the music was cool. Take a look at the Photo Gallery for a snippet of the music we enjoyed!
Our August meeting was at Kings Bowl in Franklin where we got together for food, conducted some club business, and had fun with all the games available. Missed this meeting? Join us next month at Jonathan's in Cool Springs.
We closed out July and its oppressive heat with ice cream! We joined club member/owner Matt Higgins at his newly opened Handel's Ice Cream franchise in Franklin for some cool goodies. It was a great way to end the month.
On July 24th we visited Pelican and Pig for our July Gastronomic Gallivant. It's always fun to get together to try out new restaurants and you can now sign up for our August GG!
