We kicked off summer by taking a kayak trip to Burgess Falls on June 22nd.  The falls are amazing and it was nice to approach them from the water instead of our usual access by hiking!

On Wednesday, June 18, we took ourselves out to the ballpark where we enjoyed a game between our Nashville Sounds and the Iowa Cubs.  Hot dogs, cold beverages, a warm summer evening - it was a great time!  There are more photos in the Photo Gallery.

When did you first join the ski club? 2021
Favorite ski resort? Favorite ski resort is a difficult questions.  I grew up skiing at Winter Park.  Canada--Banff and Lake Louise-- are pretty special.  This year I returned to Utah and right now Deer Valley, Snow Basin, Alta are up there as favorites.  Basically, wherever I am on the snow is usually my current favorite.

What’s the best trip (traveling wise) you ever had?
There has not been a trip I have not enjoyed.  Just completed a tall sailing ship trip to the South of France which was very nice.

Are you a member of any other clubs or organizations?
I am on the Board of the local theater, and president of the Friends of the Library which supports our local library with proceeds from a used book store.

What’s your favorite seat on an airplane?
Window for short trips and aisle for long trips near the wing.

How many countries have you visited outside the US? 8

Do you have any pets? What are their names?
I have a Great Pyrenees dog named Mona and a black and white cat named Tuxedo.
