Come join your fellow Ski Club members on one of Tennessee’s most exciting and challenging hikes! This 6-mile loop may seem like an easy distance, but once you throw in a couple of rock scrambles, some ladders, and a stretch that is actually IN the creek, it’s a whole different thing! We will meet at the Cracker Barrel in Mt Juliet just off I-40 exit 226A at 7:15 AM to leave at 7:30 SHARP! It will take about 2.5 hours to reach the trailhead. The hike should take approximately 5 hours with a lunch break, and we should be back to Mt Juliet by 5:30 PM. Bring snacks, lunch, and plenty of water! A lot of this trail is exposed so you will get sun, and it will be hot! This hike also requires water shoes for the section that is in the creek. And Joe will have a prize for whomever can spot the Energizer Bunny first. NO, it is NOT him (technically)! RSVP is required for this hike, and if you have any questions, you can call Joe at 615.513.8121. If you can hike Mossy Ridge, or both ridges at Radnor in about 2 hours, you should be able to complete this hike. RSVPs will be strictly monitored. Group size is limited for safety. Please be kind and let the organizer know if you need to cancel.
