Join the Nashville Ski Club as we take our next kayaking adventure up the creek! Burgess Falls is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the state of Tennessee and this is the only way to see the falls from the bottom! Sunday June 22nd, we’ll meet at the Cracker Barrel in Mt Juliet (Exit 226A off I-40) at 7:45am to leave at 8:00am SHARP! This is a BYOK (Bring Your Own Kayak) event, or you can rent from Cumberland Kayak and Adventure Company (https://www.cumberlandkayakadventure.com). Cost is $65/person for single or double kayaks. Space is limited for this so please book early! Please book with the 9:30am group. We’ll meet at the Cane Hollow Recreational Area to launch at 9:30am and then paddle four miles up Cane Creek to the base of Burgess Falls where we will swim and take a lunch break before heading back down the creek. Please RSVP for the event but if you plan to rent a kayak you must book that directly with Cumberland Kayak and Adventure through the link above. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to the event leader, Joe Moreau at president@nashvilleskiclub.org, or call at 615-513-8121
