Owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Nick & Audra Guidry, Pelican & Pig operates with playful creativity and service in mind. Drawing inspiration from places they have lived and from their many travels, in name and through the menu, the restaurant is a nod to the inspirations and influences from the past and present. By bringing a fine-casual dining service experience to a comfortable, cozy atmosphere, it is our goal to provide exceptional service through attention to details and knowledge of products and menus.
Located in a mid-century upholstery shop, upon entering you are greeted with a view of the completely open kitchen and wood-burning hearth. Let our staff welcome and guide you through the night with our list of craft cocktails, exceptional wine and spirit offerings and our hand-selected craft beer menu.
Entrée’s range from $35-$65.
Handel's Homemade Ice Cream
Come and support a fellow Nashville Ski Club member, Matt Higgins, who has opened his own franchise of Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream right here in Franklin! Who doesn’t like ice cream?
Handel’s Story: In the summer heat of 1945, Alice Handel created the sweetest of legacies in Youngstown, Ohio. Using fresh fruit from her backyard garden and her own personal recipes, Alice lovingly made ice cream that quickly became a neighborhood favorite. Handel’s, and a commitment to quality, was born.
To this day, Handel’s upholds the traditions Alice started all those years ago. From making each batch by hand, on premise to using many of her original methods, they’re still sharing our homemade ice cream and serving the communities they love so much one scoop at a time.
